How to Construct a Second Base in Palworld

Palworld

Creating a second base in Palworld will put your captured Pals to work and give you more resources and more Pals to breed.

Players will think about making a new base in Palworld once they realize they have a lot of good Pals to work with but need more room for all of them. You may also find that your current base needs to be closer to critical resources and wants to be closer to an Ore or Sulpher vein. These are only some reasons one would like to build a second base and begin to expand.

A base is essentially a way to farm resources but can also be used for things like breeding in Palworld. There are a lot of different Pals, and being able to produce more of them is essential to getting more resources. While the world of Palworld keeps growing, your bases will also have to grow.

How To Establish A Palworld Second Base

When starting out in Palworld, there will be many things to manage and find. Players must control the many base-building mechanics and discover that the base can be upgraded by selecting the Palbox and building the requisite requirements. Once the requirements have been fulfilled, the base can be upgraded.

Upgrading your base will slowly add to the number of Pals who can work, but you may notice that the number of bases that can be built stays the same with the first upgrades you make. You can only have up to three bases in the game, which must achieve particular milestones in your base upgrading journey.

There are leveling capstones in Palworld that range for player characters, Pals, and bases worldwide. A base will max out at level 20, which can only be reached when you hit level 44. However, you will unlock the second base when you upgrade the base level to 10.

Once you have reached Level 10, you can find a spot where you want to build a new base. Remember, it should be somewhere reasonably easy to protect, close to vital resources, and wide enough open space for 15 Pals to work in. Once finalized, build a new Palbox (Paldium Fragment x1, Wood x8, and Stone x3) in the center of where you want the base to be, and you will have a brand-new second base to start building in Palworld.
